Voodoo Love Orchestra

Voodoo Love hark back to the big-band sound of 1960s Latin America and Africa with swinging street music.

The globe-trotting ensemble covers a whole range of pan-Atlantic sounds, from Colombian Cumbia and Cuban Comparsa to Jamaican Ska and Ghanaian Highlife.

Offering a celebratory, brass-heavy salute to the roots of carnival, the line-up includes helicon, tuba, euphonium, trombone, military drum corps and Latin percussion.

This year they opened the Festival of Love at the Southbank Centre with a stellar, packed out show in the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
