THE VENUE |
|
To substitute Capote's original choice of venue, The Plaza Hotel in Manhattan, we have commandeered Frederick Mansford's gorgeous 1929 Holborn edifice, Conway Hall. It is the London home of the oldest surviving free thought organisation in the world and the UK's only remaining ethical society. Modelled after the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre at Stratford-upon-Avon, the main auditorioum has a strong reputation for the best accoustics for chamber music in the capital.
